Raymie Nightingale

In the summer of 1975, Raymie Clarke decides to enter the Little Miss Central Florida Tire competition in hopes of getting her absent father to come home. Along the way, she meets two other contestants coming from equally broken homes — the wispy Louisiana and the cynical Beverly. The three form an unlikely friendship and discover through their shared adventures that they are not alone in their hardships.
