Jacqueline Sun grew up in Hong Kong, Australia and England. She holds a law degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She started her career as a commercial lawyer in Hong Kong. She later pivoted to entrepreneurship and ran a retail stationery business in Hong Kong.

Jacqueline first joined the board of Bring Me A Book Hong Kong in 2001 and stayed on for eight years. Jacqueline played a crucial role in helping BMABHK establish itself in Hong Kong and making a difference in promoting reading and literacy in local communities.

Jacqueline is also involved with the Community Chest of Hong Kong and is actively engaged with helping the marginalised in Hong Kong.

Jacqueline has three children aged 16, 13 and 9. Being a mother has enhanced Jacqueline’s passion and commitment in promoting reading and literary to the wider community.

Jacqueline is currently in the field of counselling, hoping to further her philanthropy work in local communities.
