The Blue Cat

作者 Ursula Dubosarsky

Australian Children’s Laureate author, Ursula Dubosarsky, has written an evocative and dream-like tale of friendship and alienation set in Sydney in 1942. The book explores the difficulties faced by refugees in terms of language, connection and unresolved trauma and is based on the memories of the author’s parents and other refugees. The Blue Cat was long listed for the CBCA Book of the Year, Young Readers award, 2018.
