Adam and Little Red

by Mio Debnam

A wonderfully creative spin on “Little Red Riding Hood”, written from the point of view of Adam who is not your typical fairytale hero. Adam is unsure and a little afraid when he encounters Red, an atypical damsel in distress needing to be saved. The wolf, too, is cast as an unusual villain who has other facets than his desire for a hot meal! A wonderful book that turns stereotypes on their head and shows boys that having doubts and fears is okay, and that girls don?t have to be wait to be saved.
